On Friday night, Ann, Madie and I went to the Oklahoma State Fair. Ann and I agreed that we had never seen so many carnival food vendors. The coolest part though, was seeing Madie laugh at the animals.

Ann, John (a friend from the academy), Madie and I went to Thunderbird State Park on Saturday to do some hiking. The lake is very low, which is normal this time of year so there was plenty of beach to walk on. 

There was a lot of sandstone around the park, which is easily carvable. This face caught our eye.

How did these pants get on my head? 

Class is going well. I'm putting daily posts on my OKC blog that detail my daily classroom training here at the academy. It's more for curious CTI students who haven't gone to the academy yet and are interested in what to expect during their training. There is a link to it on the right side of this page.

More pics to come later this week. We'll probably be heading to the Oklahoma State Fair. I assume that will afford some very interesting pictures.

We walked around OKC today and took a few pictures. The downtown district is very nice and it's easy to navigate.

Madie really wanted to drive the last leg of the trip to OK. She was a real trooper in the car, but she's definitely happier when she's out of her carseat.
