Madie is getting better at lifting her head. She can hold it up for quite some time.

Ann and I just got back from Madie's second pediatrician appointment. Apparently Madie has been eating steak and potatoes according to our Dr. because she not only got back to her birth weight in just 11 days, but she added an extra pound. So, now's she's 8 pounds, 5 ozs.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and wonderful comments. We will be posting more pictures later (first bath, etc.). Also, some people were curious about the spelling of Madeline's nickname. We're going to spell it with one 'd' since Madeline has one 'd'. We've corrected all of our previous posts where we spelled Madie with two 'd's. Anyway, that's just a small detail.

Madie had her first pediatrician appointment today and everything looks great. She's regained 4oz. since she left the hospital and her Dr. thinks that she should be at or past her birth weight by next week.

We're taking pictures like mad, so more will be posted later today.
