Shots of an icehouse and a seven story mill that was built in the mid 18th century. The structures stand along the Bull Run Mountains State Natural Area Preserve. The mill was apparently used by both Confederate and Union soldiers during the civil war for both food and ammunition storage.

Last weekend we went to Holiday Valley with some friends. We had a great time. There were 12 people plus Madie in the condo for a ski-bum weekend. Thanks again David and Nancy for a lot of fun!

Ann and I went out to an NHL game in DC on Tuesday night. It was our first date in quite a while.

It was a great game! It went into overtime and then down to a shootout. Washington lost to Boston: 3-2.

We met Sara, Emma, and Adam at the Pentagon for a tour and then went to Georgetown for dinner at the Tombs! We had a great time. Thanks again Sara (and Bob).

Madie had some fun with yogurt this morning for breakfast. First she used the spoon, then she decided it was a little easier just to dig into the cup with her paws.
