The happy girl is ready to go shopping. We got a few summer things for her this weekend with Grandmother Blair. We also celebrated Ann's 25th on Saturday. 

Another summer outfit that doesn't quite fit yet. 

In anticipation of summer, we bought Madie a swim suit to grow into.

Here is Madie and her new friend Emerson. Emerson's mom Laura is my new office mate. Emerson is 2 months old and Madie is 3 months old. Don't they look so cute together!

I had to add this pic to the blog. My buddy Lorne made this picture and named it 'Madiezilla'. Looks like she's tearin' up Chicago. 

With the Steelers victory came the bedlam that was rampant across the city. Here's a shot of Liberty Ave. just minutes after the win. We went to Joe's in Bloomfield to watch the game. Even after waiting to head home, it still took about an hour to get back because all bridges into the South Side were closed because several thousand people had spilled out into the streets. Finally, we find one bridge, where we showed an officer ID that we lived on the South Side and he let us through. Two tipped cars, several trash can fires, and 30 arrests later, Pittsburgh finished its late night victory party. 

Madie found the Terrible Towel to be quite tasty. 

We used half-time to do some grillin'. 

Celebrating after the game. Joe, Mike, Jon, and myself went for a little walk on Liberty Ave. after the Steelers victory. It was bedlam.
